Today we’re talking about trauma. The concept of trauma and the discussions around it have definitely become more and more commonplace. As a society, we’re becoming much more comfortable talking about it in general. But, I think there’s still a nuance that we’re missing. When others talk about trauma, we tend to compare our trauma to theirs. We might even think that our trauma wasn’t significant enough because it wasn’t as bad as someone else’s.

So, in today’s episode, I want to talk about this notion around trauma and break down the idea of personal perspective in the context of trauma, the subjective impact that each one of us has, and how that affects you in the present moment. I’ll also be providing a bit of an exercise at the end of the podcast to help you resolve these issues related to the impact your trauma has on you. So, if you’re ready to have this conversation, I hope you’ll tune in!
