Jul 31, 2020

Today I’m joined by an incredible physician and anesthesiologist, Dr. Ken. Dr. Ken is a Board Certified Cardiac Anesthesiologist as well as the Founder and Medical Director of Illumma. At Illumma, he conducts ketamine infusion treatment, which is becoming increasingly popular for treating chronic mental health conditions and pain syndromes.

What you may not know about ketamine is that it is a medication that has been used around the world for over 50 years and is viewed by the World Health Organization as an essential medicine. Studies have confirmed its benefits for the treatment of depression, anxiety, inflammatory pain, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and more.

What we know as ‘recreational drugs’ are being utilized more and more in a clinical setting. And when it comes to depression and other chronic mental health conditions, it is incredibly important that we are aware of the vast array of tools and options out there for us as individuals. I hope you’ll join Dr. Ken and me in this episode to learn more about the incredible therapeutic use of ketamine to see whether it is an option for you in your own journey!
